What is Wolf Gold?
Wolf Gold is an online pokie by Pragmatic Play set in a desert canyon, with wolves, eagles and horses on a 5 x 3 layout. It combines two features: a Money Respin with three jackpots, and free spins with giant symbols. The Money Respin works much like the hold and spin feature of venue games, which makes Wolf Gold a common choice for players who know Lightning Link pokies.
| At a glance | |
|---|---|
| Provider | Pragmatic Play |
| Layout | 5 reels x 3 rows |
| Money Respin | 6+ money symbols: 3 respins, reset by each new money symbol |
| Jackpots | Three jackpots; filling all 15 positions wins the Mega Jackpot (1,000x) |
| Free spins | 3 scatters: 5 spins with giant symbols on reels 2 to 4 |
| RTP (provider) | 96.01% |
How does the Money Respin work?
The Money Respin starts when 6 or more money symbols land in the base game:
- Only money symbols stay; the other positions clear.
- You get 3 respins.
- Every new money symbol locks in place and resets the respins to 3.
- When the respins run out, you win the total of all money values on screen, which can include cash values of up to 100x and jackpots.
- Fill all 15 positions and the Mega Jackpot, worth 1,000x the stake, is added.
The Money Respin can also trigger during free spins.
How do the free spins work?
Three scatters trigger 5 free spins. During the feature, reels 2, 3 and 4 combine into one giant symbol, so a single large symbol can complete wins across the middle of the layout. Three more scatters add 3 spins, with no limit on how many times the feature retriggers.
How do Wolf Gold's jackpots compare with progressive jackpots?
Wolf Gold's jackpots are fixed: their values are set as multiples of your stake, not pooled across players. That differs from progressive games such as Mega Moolah, where jackpots grow until won. Fixed jackpots are included in the published RTP like other wins. Our guide to jackpot pokies explains the difference in more detail.
What does the RTP mean for you?
Pragmatic Play lists Wolf Gold's RTP at 96.01%. As with any pokie, that is a long-run average; a session of a few hundred spins can end well above or below it. If you are comparing it with similar games, see our Big Bass Bonanza guide for another Pragmatic Play collect-style pokie.
How do you keep Wolf Gold play under control?
Respin features reward "one more spin" thinking. Decide your stake and session budget first, and stop when your budget or time runs out. To try the respin feature without risk, use demo mode: see our free online pokies guide. Gambling Help Online offers free, confidential support 24/7 on 1800 858 858.
