Cookie Policy

Strength for Sydney uses a minimal set of cookies to make the site work and to measure traffic. This policy tells you exactly what we set, why, and how to opt out.

Cookies we set on your device

sfs_cookie — First-party cookie set only when you dismiss the cookie banner at the bottom of the page. It stores a single value ("1") to remember you've dismissed it so we don't show the banner on every page load. Expiry: 12 months. No personal data.

Third-party services

We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that measures aggregate traffic without setting third-party tracking cookies. No third-party advertising cookies, no behavioural profiling cookies, no social media pixel tracking. When you click through to an operator's site, that operator sets their own cookies once you're on their domain — read their cookie policy for details.

How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Every modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave) offers granular cookie controls under Settings → Privacy. You can block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete existing cookies. Blocking our first-party cookie means you'll see the cookie banner on every page but the site continues to work normally.

On iOS Safari, you can enable "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" for stricter privacy. On Chrome, look for "Cookies and other site data" in Settings. Firefox has an Enhanced Tracking Protection panel that catches most tracking cookies automatically.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We respect this signal — visitors sending DNT are not counted in our analytics, and the cookie banner still appears (because dismissing it is your choice, not something we track).

Changes to this policy

We update this cookie policy whenever we change our cookie usage. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Substantive changes are also flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
