Key facts

  • Facts come from primary sources: banks, payment providers, game studios, operators' own terms and official help services.
  • Every page shows when its facts were last checked and lists its sources.
  • We do not copy other sites' content and we do not invent tests, reviews or people.
  • Commercial relationships can affect which operators we list, never the facts in a guide.
  • Mistakes are corrected as soon as we confirm them against the source.

Which sources do we use?

We use primary sources wherever they exist:

  • Payments: banks and payment providers, such as NAB and CommBank for PayID.
  • Games: the studios that make them, such as Pragmatic Play and Play'n GO game pages.
  • Sites: each operator's own terms, cashier and help pages.
  • Help and self-exclusion: official services such as Gambling Help Online and BetStop.

Search data and other websites help us decide which topics to cover. We never copy or closely paraphrase another site's content.

How are facts checked and dated?

Every factual claim is checked against its source before a page goes live. Each page lists its main sources and shows the date its facts were last checked. When a fact cannot be confirmed, we leave it out rather than guess.

How do we keep commercial relationships away from facts?

Some operators pay us commission. Those relationships can affect which operators appear in our top list and where, as explained in our affiliate disclosure. They do not change explanations, numbers, terms or warnings in our guides.

How do we write?

We write in plain Australian English, answer the question first and use tables and worked examples. Every page that discusses real money play explains the costs and links to help.

How do we correct mistakes?

When we confirm a mistake, we fix the page and update its "facts last checked" date. Report anything you think is wrong through our contact page.

We may use software tools to help with research and drafting. Every page is checked against its sources by our editorial desk before it is published, and the desk is responsible for what goes live.

How do I report a mistake?

Use our contact page and include the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, a link to a source. We check every report.
